The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (IDCEO) is offering grant funding to boost economic growth in downtown areas throughout the state.
The IDCEO recently announced $30 million in grant funding for the Rebuild Illinois Downtowns and Main Streets Capital (RDMS) and Research in Illinois to Spur Economic Recovery (RISE) programs.
RDMS focuses on infrastructure improvements, while RISE aids economic recovery projects. These initiatives aim to rejuvenate local economies and provide vital support to small businesses.
Qualified entities can apply for grants ranging from $250,000 to $2 million through July 22, 2024. Technical assistance webinars are available, and interested parties can visit the IDCEO website for more information.
