State Sen. Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) passed legislation to help support emergency ambulance services in Clark County by providing the ambulance services they need in case of emergencies.
“This bill came as at the joint request of Clark County and the Marshall Fire Protection District, so I am happy to help them out to support this initiative,” said Sen. Rose.
Senate Bill 3402 transfers the ambulance portion of the Marshall Fire District levy to Clark County who is currently providing the service.
“This is necessary so that the Clark County can continue to provide ambulance services to the citizens of the area,” concluded Sen. Rose.
SB 3402 passed the Senate on April 12th and will now go to the House for further consideration.
