The 2023 Illinois State Fair kicks off on August 10^th in Springfield with the annual Twilight parade. The 10-day event features livestock shows, concerts, harness racing, lots of fair food options, and more.

This year the grandstand will host musical acts such as Tim McGraw, REO Speedwagon, Alanis Morissette, Nelly, along with several others. Besides the headline shows, numerous stages throughout the grounds will host live music and other entertainment.

Besides the livestock shows, competitions will also include a cornhole tournament, a Lego building competition, as well as a mullet competition.

Additionally, the Du Quoin State Fair runs in Southern Illinois from August 25^th to September 4^th.
